Mesa | Warbonnet | Bull Draw | Properties Overview
The Mesa area of the Pinedale anticline has undergone accelerated development since 1999 and emerged as a prolific natural gas producing area.
The Company has a 23 to 28 percent working interest in oil and gas leases encompassing approximately 9,500 acres (2,328 net acres) in the Mesa area. The majority of the Mesa property lies on the eastern flank of the Pinedale Anticline structure while approximately 480 acres in the southwest approaching the crest of the Pinedale Anticline are within the known productive natural gas fairway trend.
The western half of the Mesa property allows for 20-acre spaced subsurface well development. In 2006 a 480 acre area within the known productive natural gas fairway was approved for 10-acre subsurface well spacing. The 10-acre development area is operated by Ultra Petroleum. Anschutz Pinedale Corp. operates other tracts at our Mesa property.
Development of the property is restricted to the period between May and mid-November due to winter range wildlife habitat restrictions.
